Everybody Dies Famous in a Small Town
Five years later, and most of the original members of New Direction have graduated from college. They swore they’d never go back to Lima, yet most of them have been drawn back. They came back to find that the Lima they knew, and most hated, has become unrecognizable. Mayor Weirre made it his goal to make Lima into that perfect all-American town in which everyone wants to live. He cleaned up the streets and set a higher standard for living. Most who disagreed with him have moved away, and that was his plan all along. Smaller towns mean less crime, a closer-knit community, and better schools. Is this new Lima worth staying for?
The best live talent in Lima…currently.
I’ll have to come check it out next time I’m home, though. It sounds fun.
Well, my only match had to go and leave town.
You won’t be disappointed.
Except I’ve heard you before, so I can safely say that it’s undeniable that you have talent, but you’d have to work harder to beat some people from Lima.
Back up that claim with some actual evidence and I might actually believe you, but the way I see it, you’re hardly the expert on talent. I’ve seen what you call acting.
You keep thinking that.
I don’t know why it bothers you so much that I’m aware of my talents. Would you rather I fake humility just to spare people from having to feel inadequate? I am great at what I do, and I will not deny it just because being polite means being blind. I have worked my ass off to be the best, and I will not have you telling me I am not.
I wouldn’t say the best, but good for you.
Oh it is, but I understand why you’d be hesitant in admitting that.
Congrats, Jesse :)
